Our values

We put our customers first in everything we do. This means we understand that they don’t travel on our trains for fun (well, not all of them!) but to get to different places, to do things, to meet people. That’s why we do our utmost to ensure they get to where they want to be, feeling refreshed, relaxed and re-energised. Our values and beliefs support our commitment to making this happen.

We pride ourselves on being entrepreneurs, on challenging the status quo and taking risks. We are creative, constantly looking for new ideas and ways to improve our customers’ experience with us. We believe in quality for all; providing a great service to all our customers and not saving pennies to maximise profit at the detriment of their enjoyment. This also means we treat our staff fairly at all levels, and believe that everyone within our company has something to offer - great ideas come from everywhere and anyone. And, primarily, we believe in complete transparency. We know we don’t always get it right every time, but we promise that we don’t have any skeletons in our closet and will speak honestly and with integrity about everything we do.
